Victor Newman, Visiting Professor in Knowledge & Innovation Management, The University of Greenwich Business School

Victor Newman has been working with CEOs on change leadership, knowledge and innovation management since the early 90's. Victor has a strong interest in the psychology of incompetence, innovation and implementation. He is the former Chief Learning Officer to Pfizer's Global R&D operation (2000-2005), and before leaving Pfizer focused on accelerating time to market for new products, drove global skunkworks innovation projects and led the downsizing and integration of 3 consulting arms into a single global consulting operation.

Recent work has included product-market alignment, information management strategies, leadership development in top teams, the Financial Service Authority's Knowledge and Information Management strategy, the British Council's Experience Index initiative, and working with London SMEs on collaboration tactics for the 2012 Olympics. He is a Visiting Professor to the OU and Greenwich Business Schools, FRSA and Visiting Fellow to Cranfield and Sussex Universities.

Victor has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, contributed to the Harvard Business Review, and is on advisory boards to several organisations. He is the author of "Made to Measure Problem Solving" and his "Knowledge Activist's Handbook" from Capstone/ Wiley & Sons was cited as the "best management book within the last ten years". His recent work includes the development of the fast "Innovation Café" (iCafe) approach to overcoming NIH (not-invented-here) cultures. Victor is a highly-experienced conference chair, speaker and facilitator.
