Jo Clift, Head of Shared Services, Cabinet Office

Jo Clift is leading the Shared Services team within the Transformational Government Group at the Cabinet Office, and has worked on the cross-government Shared Services agenda since 2005. Her team are responsible for developing a strategy for shared corporate services across central government and for removing barriers to sharing.

Prior to this appointment, Jo's career has been focused on large Change Programmes and in Corporate Communications, mainly within the public sector. She was Head of Communications for the BSE Inquiry and worked for several years within cabinet office Communications, advising Ministers in a variety of areas including the Millennium Dome and strategic use of Government IT. Jo also worked at Downing Street Press Office.

Jo worked at Deloitte Consulting for two years as a Change Management consultant and was involved in delivering large scale change programmes for the Irish Health Authority and Lambeth Borough Council.
