Ian Fytche, Chief Executive, North Kesteven District Council in Lincolnshire
Ian Fytche is Chief Executive of North Kesteven District Council in Lincolnshire. North Kesteven is a large rural district known for excellent performance in recycling, commitment to the arts, and delivery of significant community regeneration programmes. North Kesteven also hosts the Lincolnshire Shared Services Partnership, which is leading the agenda for improving services and driving efficiency across Local Government in Lincolnshire. Lincolnshire is a Pathfinder county for enhancing two tier working, with a ten year vision to transform service delivery. Prior to joining North Kesteven, Ian was Director of Operations and Performance at Sport England, the national agency for the development of sport and active recreation. Ian’s role included delivery of major infrastructure projects, including Wembley Stadium and the Manchester Commonwealth Games, which created a substantial legacy for sport and economic regeneration. Ian also led a major restructuring of Sport England which delivered significant business process improvements, improved outcomes for customers, and reinvestment of efficiency gains into front line service delivery.
