Working in an environment commonly referred to as a "transactional service" Revenues and Benefits has been at the forefront of white collar outsourcing and now the shared service debate for the last 10 years or more. Driven by Gershon savings and the promise of economies of scale whether delivering the service in partnership with other public sector partners or the private sector involvement, the session will look at the various models being piloted, delivered or evaluated and draw on work that has been undertaken across Warwickshire into the feasibility of such an arrangement over the last 6 months
