The National Shared Services Conference is taking place on 19 April 2007 at the Olympia 2 Conference Centre in London.
The programme will include, a wide range of roundtable discussion groups and small group presentations to enable interaction and exchange of good practice.
Proposals and contributions to the programme are welcome, particularly in relation to: issues to be resolved before consolidating or outsourcing services; lessons learned from experience of sharing services and outsourcing; and practical challenges faced by organisations planning or developing shared service initiatives.
The programme will also include a keynote address on the strategic role of shared services in transformational Government and the following panel sessions:
- Balancing improvements in performance and improvements in efficiency
- Comparing different shared service and outsourcing models and creating the framework for successful contracts
- Determining the priorities on services that could be consolidated or outsourced
Speaker opportunities for the keynote and panel sessions are by invitation only.
