Case Study: Shared wireless broadband in Norfolk

Norfolk Open Link, the largest community wireless broadband network in the UK, went live in Norwich on 1 August 2006. It was the only network in the UK offering free mobile internet access for public sector employees, the business community and the general public. This project will run until April 2008 in order to evaluate the impact and potential of mobile technology.
