Graham Vowles, Principal Consultant, Ordnance Survey

Graham Vowles has fifteen years experience in the design and implementation of large scale distributed and replicated systems. He is a technical evangelist, strategist and analyst of key emerging technology and how it should be applied to deliver business critical enterprise applications. He is a key supporter and advocate of open standards particularly in the area of web services as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS), Web Services Interoperability Organization (WS-I) and the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). His specific interested is how these technologies can be employed to realise the UK national and European policy as defined by the UK Digital National Framework (DNF) and Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the Community (INSPIRE).
