Eddie Curtis, Chief Technology Officer, Snowflake Software
Eddie Curtis has enjoyed a long career as a software engineer within the geographic information sector. A specialist in spatial database design, Curtis led the development at the Ordnance Survey of the high performance data server which is now used for the generation of OS MasterMap. In 2001, Curtis co-founded Snowflake Software where he is now the main architect for the GO Loader product suite and OS MasterMap Viewer. As CTO of Snowflake Software, Curtis is also the company's technology representative within the OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc), where he is active in the promotion and application of OGC open standards in numerous projects. Curtis holds a BSc from York University and an MSc from Leeds Metropolitan University.
