Christine Osgood, Employers' Organisation for Local Government

Christine Osgood is HR Consultant - Employee Relations and Service Improvement at the Employers' Organisation for local government.

With over 8 years' private sector experience, followed by 15 years' at a senior level in local government, including a London borough and a county council, and after a spell as an independent consultant, Christine now acts as national adviser on workforce engagement. Most recently, she has represented local government on a national project, led by the Cabinet Office and TUC, to develop an on-line toolkit for public sector employers to build their capacity in working jointly with employees and trade unions for improved services.

Christine is also leading a programme of work on flexible working and greater use of mobile technology as routes to increased efficiency in local government. Alongside these areas of expertise, her specialist areas have included contact centres, e-HR, work-life balance, and project management.

Christine is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, and an honours graduate in Hispanic Studies.
