Richard Sarson, Freelance Technology Journalist

Richard is a freelance technology journalist writing about the politics of IT for the Guardian, “Government Computing” and “Smarthealthcare.com”. He edited the Journal of the Parliamentary IT Committee from 1995-2003, and, in 2006, wrote “PITCOM@25”, a short history, to celebrate its 25th Anniversary.

He was a Council Member of PITCOM from 1995 to 2009. In this time he studied at close hand the MPs and Peers who pay attention to IT policy.
