For the last three years the Hansard Society has evaluated a number of government initiatives to engage with citizens online. The findings of this research are now published in the final report in the Digital Dialogues series (available at http://www.digitaldialogues.org.uk) and this workshop will present pertinent advice on strategies for successfully online engagement combined with reflections and personal stories from those who are already doing it and are leaders in their field. Chaired by Andy Williamson, eDemocracy programme director at the Hansard Society, panelists include Jane Seymour, Head of Web Team, Food Standards Agency and Ben Rhodes, Sustainable Development Commission.
