The devolved governments of the UK have been leading the way in the use of the internet, webcasting, online debate and other tools to boost democracy. Our panelists are Bethan Jenkins, the youngest Welsh Assembly member who set up a youth organisation running the first interactive text referendum; Navraj Ghaleigh, a lecturer in Public Law in Edinburgh with a special interest in the implications of new technologies for the electoral process; and David Newman, one of the world's leading e-democracy academics from Queen's University Belfast.
