C: Local e-Democracy for Stronger Communities

This workshop is being led by Redbridge Council, an authority which has pioneered the use of a customizable, highly interactive 'web 2.0' public service website to engage its citizens and improve its online services. Hear how they developed the site, and what further plans are in store; and we will also hear from academic Paul Hepburn from the University of Manchester on the potential for using new technologies to aid civic renewal.
