Julie Howell, Associate, Headstar

Julie Howell is technical author of PAS 78, the specification upon which the first British Standard for accessible web design is based. During her 12-year tenure with RNIB she managed the Campaign for Good Web Design, and she founded one of the UK's first social networks for disabled people in 1995.
