Under discussion will be what accessible mobile phones are on the market, challenges for the future; and moves that need to be made to increase accessibility for disabled people.
The session will cover incorporating accessibility evaluation into the design process, the use of Global Positioning System (GPS) to assist in navigation and location based services and the accessibility of Blackberry devices. Panellists will also open up the topic of the mobile phone as an information processor and touch on what they might be used for in the future.
