Workshop panellist: Anthony Dooley, Policy Advisor, Digital Switchover Team, Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS)
Anthony works on a wide range of issues relating to digital switchover and has particular responsibilities relating to concerns of older and disabled people in switching to digital TV and the Digital Switchover Help Scheme. He is currently working on the Disclosure of Information Bill. Anthony works closely with the Consumer Expert Group, a group commissioned by DCMS to articulate consumer concerns.
Before joining the switchover
team, Anthony advised on policy matters relating to the content of television
programmes and on the Communications Act 2003. He has previously worked on the
policy introducing free access to the national museums and galleries. He has
also worked at the Cabinet Office.
