Public procurement sounds like a very dry subject, but our interaction with e-Government is set to increase enormously over the next few years. As citizens, we will be using publicly procured technology when we visit the doctor, when we tax the car, file our tax return, or look for work at a JobCentre. Millions of public sector employees use technology at work that has been purchased for their use. The power of accessibility factored into public procurement is truly enormous.
