Access to technology by people with disabilities: Policy and strategy for modern public and private organisations.
E-Access Bulletin's third annual conference and exhibition on access to technology by people with disabilities is a high-level event drawing together all the strands needed for modern public and private sector organisations to draw up progressive policies on access.
Under the Disability Discrimination Act and other related legislation, your organisation has a legal duty to ensure that all reasonable steps are being taken to ensure your digital services and technologies, including websites, mobile phone, digital radio and TV, broadcasting, electronic books and other technologies, are accessible to all.
Whether you are a public sector body, a supplier of information technology, an educational institution, a bank, a private sector provider of goods or services, or simply an organisation that provides at least some of your information or services digitally, this is the place to find out more about how to comply with the law; what elements to include in your access policies and strategies; and find out about the latest in access technology. Supported by E-Access Bulletin, Ability Magazine and the RNIB, our spring event is building from strength to strength. Don't miss out!
