Everything is going mobile - portable handheld devices and mobile phones are the future of web access and information exchange for council employees and between councils and their citizens. The early days of the mobile web however have been dogged by problems of quality, clarity and standards.

This session is intended to review current trends for mobile phone usage and the web. The main points covered are:

2. A review of general mobile market place
3. How are mobile phones used and how to interact with users?
4. Is your website mobile-friendly?
