Peter Thomson, Policy Officer (e-government), Wolverhampton City Council

Pete Thomson Pete is Policy Officer (e-government) at Wolverhampton City Council. He established the Council's first website, and has since worked with European partners on the pioneering Webocracy project, managed the Council's e-government programme, and supported Wolverhampton's Member Champion for e-government and Members' ICT Working Group.

Pete was a member of the project board for the ODPM National Project for local e-democracy, and the lead author of the good practice guidance on councillor websites developed by the National Project and now distributed by ICELE.
